SPECSAVERS IN Colne Sainsbury’s, Windy Bank CELEBRATE THEIR FIFTH ANNIVERSARY

Specsavers Opticians in Colne marked five years of caring for the community’s eyes and ear health with celebrations and a special guest.

Specsavers in Colne Sainsbury’s, Windy Bank welcomed Mayor of Pendle, Cllr Brian Newman to meet the team and take a tour of the store, which has carried out more than 25,000 eye tests and dispensed over 32,000 pairs of glasses and contact lenses since opening in 2019.

Commenting on his visit, Cllr Newman says: ‘Hearing and eyesight are incredibly precious and access to professional care services is a valuable part of our community. The store is a real asset to Colne.’

Specsavers Colne store director Mark Addison says: ‘We can’t quite believe it’s been five years since we first opened our doors. We are locally owned and run, and are incredibly proud to be at the heart of our community.’

Over the past four decades, Specsavers has been committed to investing and staying at the forefront of optical and audiology technology and trends, offering a wide range of services, including eye tests, prescription eyewear and contact lenses, as well as hearing checks, hearing aids and wax removal.
