4. Competitions

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Competitions are open to UK residents only who are at least 18 years old. Entry to a competition and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s name for promotional purposes without additional consultation. Competitions are not open to employees of Northern Life Media Ltd and our competition partners or their direct family members. The prize winners will be selected at random by Northern Life Media Ltd. Only the winners will be contacted personally. Northern Life Media Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize if the winner does not respond within 48 hours. There will be no cash alternatives to prizes. Northern Life Media Ltd does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or post. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Northern Life Media Ltd’s decision is final in every situation, including any eventuality not covered above, and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them. These terms apply to all competitions run by Northern Life Media Ltd, but each competition may also have its own specific terms and conditions. By entering any competition, you will be bound by these general terms as well as any specific terms.

5.Data Protection And Privacy

The privacy of our readers is very important and we are committed to following policies which comply with current UK Data Protection legislation and regulations in respect of personal data. By entering your details on this Site you acknowledge and agree that your details will be stored and processed for the purposes of providing you with information you request. 6. Online Shopping and Returns Policy

Shoppers have the right to cancel within seven days of their contract with Northern Life Media Ltd, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If the shopper does cancel their order, they will have their payment returned subject to firstly returning the goods by registered post to Northern Life Magazine, Burton House, Suite 14, 2a Market Place, Colne, Lancashire BB8 0HY.

7. Subscriptions

Once you have ordered your subscription for yourself or a friend it cannot be refunded. If you wish to cancel your subscription you may do so by writing to us or emailing us at info@northernlifemedia.co.uk.

No cash alternatives are available.

Subscriptions will be delivered subject to availability, and we will have no liability if we are delayed in or prevented from providing the subscription by factors beyond our control.

Free home delivery applies to UK postcodes. Any overseas shipment to be paid for by the buyer.

If you have chosen to pay by Direct Debit, we will adhere to the guidelines set out in the Direct Debit guarantee.

Northern Life Media Ltd reserves the right to discontinue the subscription at any point by entering into written correspondence with the subscriber. Northern Life Media Ltd shall not be responsible in performing its obligations where the failure is beyond our control. Northern Life Media Ltd cannot be liable for lack of delivery if you have provided us with an incorrect address.

Any free tickets or other ticket offers associated with your subscription will only be made available if the event is carried out in the calendar year of the subscription.

8. E-Commerce

Northern Life Media Ltd. may, from time to time, join up with third-party partners to enable you to purchase relevant products and services. Any resultant transactions carried out with specified third-party partners (and not Northern Life Media Ltd) will be governed by the third party’s terms and conditions. Northern Life Media Ltd cannot and does not accept any responsibility for any losses you may suffer as a result of entering into any transaction with any third party.
