by Colne Life magazine
That 70’s Fest is coming to Colne on Saturday 27 September 2025
Colne town centre will be transformed on Saturday 27 September 2025 as That 70’s Fest brings a full day of disco, retro fashion, and family fun.
Organised by Colne BID, the festival promises something for everyone — from live music and theatre to vintage displays and free activities.
On Parliament Street’s main stage, entertainment includes performances from Craven College, The Little Theatre Dramatics, Helen Green Dance, singer Áine O’Grady, and headline act Discognito. Competitions such as fancy dress, Name That Tune, boogie bingo and hula hooping add to the fun, alongside food stalls and street entertainers The Mirror Men and Disco Heads.
Elsewhere, visitors can enjoy vintage vehicles, a vinyl record showcase at The Muni, roller disco, and themed pub takeovers. Families can join free activities including face painting, fairground rides, axe throwing, flower crown workshops and even 70’s-style hair and makeup.
Vena Reid, Colne BID Manager, said:
“The 70s were all about colour, creativity and community — and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to Colne.”
With free entry, the event is expected to draw large crowds keen to relive an iconic era.
