Colne Winter Bloom Light Parade

Locals gathered with excitement at St John’s Church to join the Winter in Bloom parade up Albert Road. Created by the Handmade Parade, and with thanks to Colne Bid, faces literally lit up as lanterns, wolves, rabbits, frogs, horses and even a giant (thrown in for good measure) illuminated the dark, cold evening and warmed up the atmosphere with live music and a variety of stalls. Councillor Ash Sutcliffe said: “Thank you so much to everyone who came and volunteered and supported the event. I’ve been smiling for hours!”
