Pendle Panthers & Cycle Sport Pendle are proud to present the Mountain Bike Challenge in aid of Pendleside Hospice. Join one of a series of mountain bike routes, tackling the bridleways in and around Pendle, taking in some beautiful villages and scenery. 9 am start from Townley Park.

An unforgettable ride through the stunning bridleways of Pendle, soaking up breathtaking views, passing through historic villages, and raising vital funds for Pendleside Hospice. Various entry fees and distances. Register online.

All walkers must ‘check-in’ at one of the two designated check-in points on the day between 10am – 12 noon- Thatch and Thistle (Barrowford) or Pendle Inn (Barley). You can start your walk at any point along the route, but make sure to pass through a check-in point during the times stated. The event will officially end at 8pm.

Have you ever wanted to groom a horse or pony? Now is your chance at HAPPA. These sessions allow visitors to groom one of HAPPA’s gentle horses under staff supervision. Suitable for ages 4+. Every Tuesday until 26th August.

On guard! From giant broad swords to elegant rapiers our in-costume experts have swords and historical armaments on display from all periods of history. You can try some (careful) weapons handling, find out more about swordsmanship and see live sword fighting demonstrations during the afternoon by members of the Silver School of Arms.
