Come along to this regular family session aimed at children aged 2 to 5. It's all about chatting, playing, reading and learning. Each session is focussed on helping every child develop through group play and is a great way for you to have fun with your child while they make new friends. First Tuesday of every month.

If you're searching for your ancestors and need a little help or advice, we have volunteers available in the library to answer your questions, help you with your family history research and show you family history resources available that we've paid for so you don't have to. Our digital skills sessions will run through a variety of subjects from basic computer skills to shopping online and using health apps from the GP. Sessions will be tailored to suit your needs to make sure you feel comfortable and confident with computers and mobile devices.

A weekly story reading session for pre-school children. All pre-school children and their parents or carers are welcome to join us. Following the success of a recent D-Day Landing talk, the Armed Forces Support Group in conjunction with Colne Library offers a detailed, fascinating and knowledgeable presentation on the longest continuous military campaign of WW2.

Planting trees to create woodland rides in the interior of the woodland - this does several things: it improves bio-diversity by introducing a mid-layer of trees, and it directs footfall throughout the woodland, protecting undisturbed areas and allowing maximum wilding to take place.
