The library will be reading from the best and brightest and most funny picture books in the library for your kids to enjoy and to inspire them to find books and reading fun! Every Monday until 21st July.
Lancs STEM Stars
Colne Library ColneAre you a science superstar, a technology trooper, an engineering expert or a maths magician? At Colne Library on Mondays after school for a brand new STEM club, Lancs STEM Stars. Explore the world of science, technology, engineering and maths through a variety of experiments, games and challenges, with a new theme each week. Suitable for children 5-11 years old.
BABY BOUNCE AND RHYME
Colne Library ColneEnjoy lively sing-along songs, gentle movements, and rhymes with your baby, plus meet and chat with other parents and carers. Suitable for babies up to around 18 months of age, but older pre-school siblings welcome. Every Monday.
Top to Toe Fitness
Colne Library ColneThis intermediate yoga session will be led by a qualified instructor. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise and stretching. This session is part of our Together Fund programme which is supported by Active Lancashire and Sport England.
GET ONLINE AT YOUR LIBRARY
Colne Library ColneBring your own device or learn on a library computer. Our digital skills sessions will run through a variety of subjects from basic computer skills to shopping online and using health apps from the GP. Sessions will be tailored to suit your needs to make sure you feel comfortable and confident with computers and mobile devices. Learn the basic digital skills which will enable you to keep in touch with family and friends, shop safely online, take up a new hobby, find work, save time and money, find information about your health and much more... We provide bite-size courses and one to one help. It doesn't matter how young or old you are, it doesn't matter if you've never used a computer, we can help you! There are also follow-on courses you can access if you wish to.
