Create a Magical Woodland Hanging Advent Calendar

This year why not surprise your family with a unique homemade advent calendar, hung proudly on your staircase, that doubles up as a bespoke decoration. Create some excitement for the children when they run down the stairs each morning, eagerly counting down the days to Christmas.
STEP 1
Fill a selection of small boxes with a present of your choice – this could be chocolate coins, card games or even favourite sweeties.
STEP 2
Wrap each box with craft paper or Christmas wrap, and number them 1 to 24.
STEP 3
Tie twine or ribbon around each box and attach to your staircase at alternating heights to add dimension and interest. Add baubles or candy canes for an extra treat. It is Christmas after all!
